• Guest Order Data (QR Ordering): Table number, selected menu items, special cooking instructions, and order timestamps. Guests order directly via table QR code without requiring account creation or app installation.
• Payment & Billing Data: Transaction subtotals, payment methods selected (Cash, Card, UPI), invoice numbers, and billing history. Payment processing details are handled via secure third-party gateway providers.
• Device & Usage Logs: IP address, browser type, operating system version, access timestamps, and session diagnostics for platform performance monitoring.

3. How We Use Your Information

We process collected data exclusively for operating and improving the platform:

• To process and transmit table orders directly to kitchen display screens (KDS) in real time.
• To generate automated bills, GST calculations, and thermal or digital receipts.
• To maintain staff role permissions, authentication tokens, and outlet management controls.
• To provide customer support, technical assistance, and system status updates.
• To prevent fraudulent activity, ensure network security, and comply with applicable laws.

We implement enterprise-grade security protocols to protect your data against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. All database queries, network requests, and API communications are encrypted in transit via SSL/TLS (HTTPS). Data is securely hosted on Supabase infrastructure with row-level security (RLS) policies.

5. Cookies & Local Storage

RestaurantsOS uses minimal operational session storage and essential cookies to maintain user authentication, active language settings (EN / Hindi), and active table cart states. We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

6. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or business data to third parties. We may share necessary data with trusted service providers strictly to deliver our core features (e.g., cloud hosting, payment gateways, or SMS invoice alerts).
